About the GPS/GSM/GPRS Moving Targets Information Service System

The system is composed of GPS/GSM/GPRS device, software and hardware deployed in the service center. Firstly the GPS/GSM/GPRS device receives signal from GPS satellites and calculates the position, velocity and time of the vehicle. Secondly the communication system transfers the above data and other management information to service center and the GPS/GSM/GPRS device’s displayer. Finally the position and status of the target will be shown timely on a digital map in the service center computer. The system can be widely used in vehicle dispatching, tracking and other extend management.

System Function:
1. When necessary, the operator in service center can easily and timely get known the status including the object’s position, velocity and moving direction on the digital map with his computer.
2. When necessary, the operator can get known the object’s historical moving records during a special time.
3. With special business system, the operator can assign task according to the vehicle’s position and their business status.
4. On receipt of passenger's call asking for a taxi, the dispatcher will inquiry the passenger's position and find out the nearest unloaded taxi on digital map, then inform the driver to meet the passenger, at the same time, the whole process will be recorded for further checking. (for taxies)
5. While the vehicle is hijacked, the alarm information from the driver will be immediately transferred to the police office by service center system.
